Ascora is designed to capture Labour Charges in the field as Users check-in and check-out of Jobs on site or manually record their labour entries on the Mobile App. If required however, you can also manually add Labour Charges to a Job or edit Labour Charges that have been captured.
Choose the Labour & Callout Tab on the Job Card and then scroll down the screen to the Labour section. If Users have added time-sheet information on the Job, this will be displayed here.
To add Labour charges to the Job, click the +Add Labour button.
The Add Labour Item pop-up window will display. Enter details for the Labour Charge:
- Select a User from the dropdown menu
- Select a Role from the dropdown menu
- Enter a date
- Enter a description for the Labour charge
- Enter the number of labour hours to charge
- Check or un-check the toggle box to identify the Labour charges as chargeable to the customer or not
- Click the Save button when you are ready

How to Add Labour Charges from the Mobile App (Android)
1. From the main screen, search for the job and tap it to access the Details screen and tap on Labour.
2. Tap Add beside Labour and select the user as well as Labour Role.
In this example, we've added Builder Role to user Courtney.
Note: To add labour charges to a quote from your Android App, simply access the quote details screen and the rest of the steps are the same.
How to Add Labour Charges from the Mobile App (iPad)
1. From the main screen or from the job screen, tap the job number to display the details.
2. Tap Labour located on the left side of the iPad screen.
3. Tap Add Labour button.
4. From this screen, select the User and the Labour Role. You can also manually adjust the duration and rates if needed.
Once ready to proceed, click Save.
Note: To add labour charges to a quote from an iPad, simply access the quote details screen and the rest of the steps are the same.
