Ascora is designed to capture Labour Charges in the field as Users check-in and check-out of Jobs on site or manually record their labour entries on the Mobile App. However, if required you can also manually add Labour Charges to a Job or edit Labour Charges that have been captured or set Labour Charges as Non Chargeable.

1. Go to Administration then Rates & Charges.

2. Click Edit beside the role name that you need to update as non-chargeable or click Add if you need to add a completely new non-chargeable labour role.

3. Untick the box beside Is Chargeable and click the Save button located on the lower right part of the box.

4. Go to Administration then Users.

5. Locate the user from the list and click View beside the user name.

6. Select the non-chargeable labour role in the Standard Labour Role field and click on the Save button.

Note: You can also rename the labour role in step 2 and perhaps call it "Builder - Non-Chargeable Labour" for easier reference or even set the charge as $0.00.

7. You can now add timesheet hours for that user and you'll see N in the Chargeable column which means no amount will be included in the invoice.
As mentioned earlier, you can rename the labour role or set the charge as zero-dollar if preferred.

When the user checks in and checks out of jobs from the app, timesheet hours and user-pay rates will be added but labour will be automatically tagged as non-chargeable.
