You can add new equipment in iOS App either from the customer screen or from the job screen.

In this user guide, we add equipment from the Job screen. This is the same area where you can access the equipment details and enter the necessary information if you are using custom fields.


1. Log into your Ascora App and from here you will see the Jobs listed for the day.

2. Tap on the Job to display more details.

 



3. Tap on Menu and select Equipment.



4. Tap on + icon to add new equipment.



5. After adding the equipment, you'll see it added to the list of existing equipment and you can tap on it to display more details such as accessing the custom details fields.

 


Note: In iPad screen, main equipment details are shown in the left panel while custom details are shown in the right panel.


Once equipment details are added in the mobile app, you can generate an equipment record and use any of your available templates.

 Equipment record can be generated either in the app or in Ascora web.



In Ascora web you can generate equipment record by clicking the arrow and select the corresponding template.

The amount of information displayed in the template depends on template configurations and if you are using custom fields, your template must be configured to display such custom fields.



In the following example, we have an Equipment  Record displaying custom fields for this equipment type Evaporative  AC System.
