Second step is to set up your Invoice Email Template as you will need to add a payment link to it. This is the link that your customer can access to make an online payment.

To set up your Email Templates Template, go to Administration → Email Templates.

In the following example, we've added a few Email Fields and one of them is Site Customer Full Name.
Note: It is important that you do not manually type the Email Fields as they won't work that way. Always click the link under Email Fields.
3. To add the Payment Link, click in the Email Content where you want the link to appear, then select Invoice Link from the Email Fields List.
You need to scroll down to find the link from the list.
4. The following screen appears for you to enter a Text and in this example, we enter the text PAY NOW.

5. We've now added an invoice link to our invoice email template which the customer can click to make an online payment.
6. Once invoice is sent via email, your customer can click on invoice link and be able to enter their Credit Card details online.
Below image is what the customer sees after clicking invoice link and then PAY NOW button.
Optional: Adding a Pay Now button
You can also add a Pay Now button containing the payment link. You must first upload your Pay Now image of your choice by clicking Select Files in Images and Signatures area.
1. Once you've added the image, click in the Email Content area where you want it to appear then click the Pay Now image.
2. The following box appears and you need to enter the desired image width and height.
- In this example, we set it to 200 for height and 200 for width but you can adjust this depending on the image you are adding.
Click Insert to proceed and the image should now appear in the Email Content area.
3. Now, we need to configure that image to make it clickable.
Click on Pay Now image located in Email Content area and click Invoice Link under Email Fields area, then click Insert.
4. The Payment button or image is now clickable so that customers can click on it to make a payment online.
Testing your Payment Link or Payment button
1. You can access one of your invoices and send it via email to your own email address and once sent, click on History tab and display the Email details.
2. You should see the Pay Now link and/or Pay Now button in the email Body.
Click the Pay Now link and then Pay Now button and both should redirect you to the Invoice details page which means that links were added successfully.
Below image is what you should see or your customer sees after clicking Pay Now link and/or PAY NOW button.
To proceed in making an online payment, your customer needs to click on Pay Now button and the box to enter Credit Card details will appear.
Once details are entered, your customer needs to click on Process Payment to proceed.
